What To Expect

Fitness Assessment

In your first session, Eddie will conduct a full body fitness/movement assessment. He will put you through a series of movement and fitness screens in order to see how your body responds to certain types of exercise. Completing this assessment will allow Eddie to develop a fitness program curated to your specific needs and goals.


Personalized Fitness Program

Upon completing your fitness assessment, Eddie will determine what type of training you need in order to achieve your goals. Regardless of your fitness level, the first few weeks will focus more on building/re-establishing a strong foundation throughout your body in order to prepare it for heavier loads and/or more intense exercise in the future. Establishing this foundational strength is key to your success throughout your fitness journey. All too often, personal trainers immediately put their clients through too rigorous of exercise, resulting in overtraining and injury. Eddie’s philosophy is quite the opposite. Through the effective use of periodization, Eddie will gradually increase the difficulty/intensity of your training in order to safely guide you towards your fitness goals. We want you in this for the long haul. It’s not called a fitness journey for nothing!


Nutrition Coach

What we eat is not only how we fuel our bodies, but it’s also a huge factor when it comes to changing body composition. Whether you’re interested in gaining muscle or losing body fat, having a straight forward and effective strategy is key. Long term sustainability is the goal, so completely eliminating nutrients like carbs and fat will not work. Learning what your body needs to function at its highest level is the goal. Striving for change is not easy, especially when it comes to something as personal as how we look and feel. Embarking on a new fitness journey is indeed a lifestyle change, and having a coach to keep you focused goes a long way in keeping you on track.
